We are honoured to bring you our next retreat on the beautiful Greek Island of Crete over the transformative portal of the Autumn Equinox - a space truly yours, to harvest the heart! Equinox marks a poignant time in the year where we honour the shift of the seasons - an equal measure of light and dark before the nights begin to get longer. From sun to moon, fire to water, action to contemplation - this is a time to deepen connection with yourself, each other and Mother Earth - whilst harvesting those fruits that light up the heart.

Our Cretan beach home for 6 nights, is situated right on the edge of crystal clear and warm blue waters, overlooking the Libyan Sea - with some of the best sunrise/sunsets you'll ever experience. Set on a private beach with a stunning backdrop of hills covered with pine and cedar trees, we will be supported and inspired truly by the gift of nature. With little turtles getting out of their nests and starting their big journey to the sea - in parallel to Equinox, this week we'll honour the natural cycles of the year so in turn, we can cultivate a greated sense of harmony, peace and acceptence within outselves.

This carefully crafted week holds daily practices that gift you time to tap deeper into your true self - your authentic self, taking time to go through the many motions of transformative experience both through the power of an inwards journey and the power of connection with like-minded souls. We will have a host of deliciously prepared medicinal foods, juices & demos by the epic JAY HALFORD to nourish all senses, cells and the soul, as well as ceremonial circles/cacao, daily bathing in the ocean and much more! We invite you to move through each days steadily, and simply be with what is. In turn - coming into alignment and full integration of body, heart and soul. We can not wait to welcome you!

LIV & yoga

Blending the ancient wisdoms of yogic tradition with her love for free flowing authentic movement – Liv’s vinyasa based practice and teachings are harnessed on embodiment and experience. From an earthy elemental practice, to a firey dynamic asana, to gentle breathwork, somatics and Yin – all are deeply connected and rooted in the breath.

Whether you are starting out on your yoga journey or you have a regular practice/are a dedicated practitioner, Liv’s warming style accommodates for all levels – with her primary focus of movement being centred around FEELING. How we are experiencing & embodying the pose, as opposed to being caught up on how it looks/should look. We are all unique individuals, with different routines and needs – Liv’s style allows you to get what you need from your practice, whilst celebrating the shapes that are completely unique to you.

Working with modifications and many variations to help ease or enhance your practice – there is a wonderful togetherness that comes from these classes together on retreat. Liv will work closely with everyone’s practice, whilst nurturing the magic and connection between the group – the magic of YOGA, in this very beautiful part of the world.

A TYPICAL DAY ON A YOGANIC RETREAT

(subject to change but this will give you a rough idea of what to expect)

ARRIVAL DAY (22 SEPTEMBER)

4pm - arrivals & check in

5pm - welcome juices & treats

6pm - opening circle and gentle flow

7:30pm - supper

FULL RETREAT DAYS WILL RUN LIKE:

7:30am - fresh juices/smoothies/natural espressos

8 - 10am - meditation & yoga practice with Liv

10am - breakfast

12:00 onwards - chill/adventure/connection/treatments/workshops

2pm - light lunch/snack

5 - 6:30pm - yin with Liv

7pm - supper

Star gazing/journalling with chai/cacao

FINAL DAY (28 SEPTEMBER)

7am - juices

7:30am - final practice

9am - breakfast

10am - check out & departures

EVERYTHING is optional. This is your retreat, your time, your space - to do as much or as little as your soul needs.

THE ROOMS

A selection of beautiful suites (both private and shared options available) situated in both the beach and the guest house - all of which hear the gentle sounds of the sea and play witness to the most beautiful Greecian sunrises/sunsets. This is one of the most breath taking venues I've had the pleasure to host at. Surrounded by nature & mountains (earth), sunsets & sunrises (fire), our own private beach which opens to the Mediteranean ocean (water) - all with a loving freshness of air in the lungs. There is SO much that is inspiring about this place we get to call 'home' for the week. A space filled with so much magic, connection & harmony - I couldn't not name each suite after each one!

Some people come together on retreats, and many come alone/solo. These spaces are sacred and are valuable containers to hold much growth, wisdom, connection and transformation, whilst seeking ease & serenity. They are great opportunities to meet with new people, share stories, explore the power of intention & be completely who you want to be .. yourself!

With both private and shared options available, a non-refundable deposit of £400 will be required to book, with payment plans optional to be completed before the retreat. This is an intimate retreat space of 14 people - designed to connect lovingly with every person and their pratice - on the magical island of Crete! We can't wait to welcome you!

PRIVATE ROOM WITH PRIVATE ENSUITE

Located in the main beach house. There are just 2 of these private suites available. I have named them Vayu & Agni, as they hug the gentle coastal line of the ocean - open to the freshest of sea air (vayu) & the rise/settling of the sun (agni/fire). Enjoy some sacred time to yourself in your own private suite (double bed) with a private bathroom, whilst listening to the gentle roll of the waves. This suite can also be booked if coming as a couple (£1600 pp) - please let us know at the point of booking (or pop us a message - yoganicuk@gmail.com)

SHARED ROOM (TRIO) WITH PRIVATE ENSUITE

There are 2 of these sharing suites available (same sex suites) located in the main beach house - and they are total vibe! I've named them Dharma & Sadhana, as they serve space of great purpose and practice in making new friendships & connections whilst sharing our gifts & stories with each other. There are 3 single beds in each of these suites, both with private bathrooms. Perfect for friends and those travelling solo looking to make new/life long connections.

Welcome to the Vida suite! Full of life & love. This double bed suite steps out from the beach house on to the terrace - with most beautiful view, pool and walkway to the ocean before you. This suite shares a bathroom with one other room.

SHARED ROOM (TRIO) WITH SHARED BATHROOM

Welcome to the Pritvi suite! A beautiful room (same sex suite) in the guest house that steps into a serene living space. A space carved out for some hearty grounding with cups of tea as you look out over the ocean and mountains (this sense of grounding/ease is why i've named this suite Pritvi = Earth). There are 3 single beds in this suite, sharing a bathroom with one other room. Perfect for friends and those travelling solo looking to make new/life long connections.

Welcome to the Jala suite - flooded with the serenity & stillness of surrounding waters (jala = water). This suite (same sex suite) is located in the guest house and steps out to the pool and the walkway to the Ocean. This shared suite has both a single bed and a double bed, with it's own private bathroom. Perfect for friends and those travelling solo looking to make new/life long connections.

LOCATION

The closest airport is Heraklion, a 75-90 min drive away. Transfers to and from the airport are not included, but we can arrange them for you and will connect you with guests from the same flight. There is currently an early British Airways flight available on the 22nd, which departs from London Gatwick at 07:00 (arriving at 13:00), as well as a later British Airways flight departing at 09:25 (arriving at 15:25). Most guests combine and rent a car for freedom to explore.
