FLOW & FEAST
Follow the sun - live by the currents & roll with the tides.
Flow & Feast is back with the celebration of Summer Solstice. A season that brings much warmth, happiness - and reminds us daily of that sun on skin, air in lungs kind of feeling. This event falls under the New Moon (in Gemini) – a beautiful time of balance and integration as we roll into a fuse of those sunnier soaked days. A gentle opportunity to find release and make positive shifts in perspective as we ease into a new cycle. A time to let things be and roll with the tides in ease amidst this wild, warming and nourishing energy from the sun. A time to immerse yourself, move freely, indulge fully and inspire deep connection.
Join us on Saturday 17th June (9:30 - 11:30am) at The Temple of Peace, 'the place with a heart' (my goodness – it’s magnificent!) in Cardiff – for an elemental fuse of authentic movement. To follow - an indulgent feast of luxurious croissants by Ty Melin (if you know, you know!) and delicious coffee by Handlebar Barista.
Beginners are welcomed and encouraged, with opportunities to ease or enhance any pose for those yogis with a deeper practice.

THE FLOW, THE FEAST & THE VENUE

FLOW WITH LIV
Blending the ancient wisdoms of yogic tradition with her love for free flowing authentic movement – Liv’s vinyasa based practice and teachings are harnessed on embodiment and experience. From an earthy elemental practice, to a firey dynamic asana, to gentle breathwork and Yin – all are deeply connected and rooted in the breath.
Whether you are starting out on your yoga journey or you have a regular practice/are a dedicated practitioner, Liv’s warming style accommodates for all levels – with her primary focus of movement being centred around FEELING. How we are experiencing & embodying the pose, as opposed to being caught up on how it looks/should look. We are all unique individuals, with different routines and needs – Liv’s style allows you to get what you need from your practice, whilst celebrating the shapes that are completely unique to you.
Working with modifications and many variations to help ease or enhance your practice – there is a wonderful togetherness that comes from these experiences. Liv will work closely with everyone’s practice, whilst nurturing magic and connection – the magic of YOGA.

TY MELIN BAKERY
Baked goods – expertly crafted. The fabulous Ty Melin meaning ‘Mill House’ in Welsh – where family is at the heart of it all. Using high quality British butter from family owned renowned business – The Estate Dairy, all pastries are freshly baked early each morning, where seasonality is key! It’s where the magic happens.
WHAT PASTRIES ARE WE FEASTING ON?
Almond Croissant – A big piece of almond-y goodness! Ty Melin’s signature croissant, dipped in Madagascan vanilla sugar syrup, filled with frangipane and finished with a generous smattering of flaked almonds.
Almond Pain au Chocolat – Just like the almond croissant – but with added luxury of Callebaut dark chocolat.
Pain Suisse – The perfect hybrid of pain aux raisins and a pain au chocolat – filled with Madagascan crème patisserie and Belgian chocolate drops.

THE TEMPLE OF PEACE the place with a heart
Truly unique. A grade 2 listed secular building of magnificent historical gravitas. Founded in 1938, as an act of memorial during the First World War - a place of pilgrimage to which people from around the world could march and pledge themselves to peace. It then transcended into a place of great inspiration - somewhere that actively furthered the causes of peace, justice and health.
Today – the profits for every event held at The Temple of Peace go towards the 7 different charities that house the venue. This includes the WCIA (Welsh Centre for International Affairs), who’s vision is for everyone in Wales to contribute towards creating a fairer and more peaceful world, by inspiring learning and action – promoting peace & sustainability, protecting human rights and supporting everyone in Wales to play their role as global citizens.
